Just as good as far pricier models in my opinion Review by Mum81
Product Rating
I purchased this as I have an obstetric TENs which can be adapted to a regular TENs from the same company, Neurotrac, and have had it for over 8 years. From my understanding this machine is very similar to some of the kegel8 models but with this one there isn't the same level of customer support as the kegel8, and the instructions are maybe not as clear for the inexperienced. Thankfully having had many years of experience of using a similar device, albeit an external version and being on a very limited budget too, I was happy to go for this one.

I wish I would have forked out sooner, I have several children and previously had a degree of cystocele and weak anterior vaginal wall which I had got used to but after having my youngest I have developed rectocele too. The rectocele doesn't bother me too much but I may in future start an anal programme and great thing is its possible with this machine which you wouldn't think with it being such a bargain option. Although my rectocele looks the same I think there has been a slihjt improvement in symptoms as I dont feel like something is blocking me passing a bowel movement any longer, and I find I can empty my bowel fully and on a more regular basis too. I thought this machine was worth a try as normal pelvic floor exercises simply don't help me enough and I want to avoid needing surgery or even having to use pessaries in future as neither appeal to me too much.

I have been using it almost a month now at night before sleeping and cannot fault it. The first few days I had no feeling on one side, which alarmed me but when I read up on it, it seems common for nerve damage to be concentrated on one side. Thankfully after about two weeks of use, I started feeling again on that side and now the pulses can be felt pretty much evenly on both sides. I had a problem of retaining urine and was so worried I would end up having to self catheterise to empty my bladder fully, this device sorted my problem out within a week, I could not believe it. I think it is slowly improving my prolapses too, although I have my good and bad days and sometimes the prolapse feels or looks worse than at other times-overall things are on the up. Most of the time now I can only feel the prolapses when on the toilet (sorry!) or bearing down in certain positions, other positions, for example standing up, from the outside at least everything looks and feels virtually normal. I am exercising once a day doing 2 days of programme 2, then one day of 9, and continuing in this pattern. So far this is working better than I could have expected so haven't really tried the other programmes yet. In summary if you're a bit more tech savvy so don't need a high level of customer support and also on a limited budget this may be the device for you. (Posted on 20 August 2013)

Great buy Review by Glo

I have both the Kegal8 Ultra Vitality and the Neurotrac Pelvitone. Both appear identical apart from the colour of the case and the lesser number of programmes on the Pelvitone. This can be addressed by programming the vitality sensation programme into the Pelvitone using the instructions in the supplied booklet/manual. Paying extra for the Ultra model is a big con. Be tight to get tight! The Pelvitone is great! (Posted on 11 July 2014)

Not all the programmes I wanted/needed Review by Joan
Product Rating
I am disappointed, because I should have bought the Vitality from Kegel8 because it has the programme for sexual sensation and this does not have that. The instructions are not really easy to follow but it is a good pelvic floor exerciser. I just wish I had the other programme for my requirements - my mistake! Will save up for the Vitality. Not right for me but good service Review by CooksQuarter
Product Rating
I need a programme for prolapse, and one that affords outside stimulation as inserting a probe can sometimes be difficult for me. This does not have the programmes I need. Customer Services were very good and they exchanged it for the Kegel8 one with more programmes and the ability to stimulate with pads.
Great service, very helpful. Also recommended Premeno which I have not used before and it s excellent.
Thank you. (Posted on 23 November 2015)

Product Questions

I've had four children all naturally. I leak urine if my bladder is full and when I laugh, shout or exercise. I can't feel anything during intercourse either. I have the neuro track pelvitone and was wondering which programmes would be best for my needs, how often do i use it and and how to maintain myself once I'm back to normal. Thank you

Which program would be best for me? I have two kids (natural births, one with a vacuum) I leak urine when I make any sudden movements or sneeze or cough.... My sensation during sex isn't great either since my second child who is two! I have this machine a while and don't find much of an improvement but to be honest I haven't been using it twice a day for 6-8 wks (like u said in one of ur answers to someone) Also when I go for a wee I can not stop it to check my pelvic floor so d muscle must be extremely week :-( The instructions that come with the machine are not great a explaining what to do!
Should the amps drop during the third phase of programme P09?
I have just purchased a neurotrac pelvitone do I need to order a specific lubrication as well? Do I also need to order some kind of anal probe to help with anal incontinence?
Hello there,
I bought the toner after having my fourth daughter a year ago but with being so busy I never used it.
Anyway I have noticed lately that my pelvic floor is definitely getting weaker and also less sensation with intercourse, so I have decided to get serious.
I come to use it last night but the instructions are quite hard to work out so wanted to double check.
Do I put the metal plates on the probe sideways facing each hip? Also should I do a mix of programmes and would once a day be enough to see results as I may struggle with twice a day? Is the machine safe to use everyday or do I rest in between?

Any advice appreciated.

Thank you

I am looking for some help with instructions on use. I am 41 years old and I have the neurotrac pelvitone that I purchased a while ago but haven't used as i don't understand how to use.

I feel I have a lack of tone and sensation and don't feel anything during intercourse. I have just today started using the pelvitone and I need to have the MA up at 90 to actually feel anything and to feel the tightening effect of the machine, if you know what i mean his is the first night of use. Is this normal for someone using the machine first time as I know I have no sensation as I don't feel anything during intercourse. Could you also please advise of best programs for me to help me and when to use and if I should have any rest days thanks
Hi what probe comes with this machune? Thanks
Just wondering about these products. Have had second child but can't seem to do pelvic floor muscles.
I am just looking for something to tighten it back up. Recommendation???
What MA would you start on for cystcele and stress incontinence? What do I aim to get up to?
There no longer appears to be a relaxing the pelvic muscle function anymore? Do you use another function for this as I have IC so it's quite important.
Many thanks
I had a baby 4 months ago, I think I have the beginnings of a prolapse. I can feel the benefits of using this but when I increase the mA even just above 30, I get a small amount of bleeding, more the higher the mA. Why is this happening and I'm assuming it isn't good? Also how often should I use the machine? Thank you.
Hi there. I have been using the pelvic tone for six months now with amazing results. I started with p 2 every morning for a month and then moved onto P 2 in the morning and p1 3 or 4 at night time alternating the programs. I have a mild prolapse and urge incontinence. More recently I have added p 10 which was recommended by my Incontinence nurse. She also found my virgina to be very lax and dry and recommended I have a course of estriol which I used for three months - this helped enormousl. I can resume the estriol in a couple on months time. My question really is which program. Could I use to tighten things up down there? Also what do I do now to maintain the results I have achieved. I no longer need to wear pads and my prolapse is all but gone. I should add that I am sixty three and post menopause. I have had two children both viginal delivery this cut and tear with first and tear on old scar line with second both were average weight babies (7.3 lbs and 7.13lb). Many thanks in advance.
Bought a pelvitone...used it today for the first time...thought it was broke...I can feel it in my hand but not when I insert the probe...don't wondering if I've waster £100
Could you please advise me on which device wld suit my needs best. im 34, have no children so my issue isnt a result of pregnanacy, but have despite using manual unit over the yers have started experiencing a noticeable loss in tone this past yr or so. also ive started to experience severe loss of tone in the bk passage-mainly this past 2/3 mths. it didnt progress slowly over time but rather appeared v quickly and is extremely noticeable. ive never been a 'windy' person and have always been v private about things of that nature (some women are comfortable with 'bathroom' bodily functions in front of their partner-im not and although not a prude i believe such functions are for private bathroom time only. in recent weeks though the lack of tone in my back passage muscles has caused some v embarrasing noises whilst bending down or just moving about as ive noticed a general 'slackness' has appeared!! this also effects my 'movement' when going to the bathroom. theres also been some vvvv alarming leakage from that area!
im looking for a unit that can be used vaginally and anally to increase tone and sensation. which wld you recommend please? many thanks
Hi can i use the pelvitone during pregnancy? If not what would you recommend to strengthen pelvic floor during pregnancy?
Is there a way to get each phase of a programme to retain the MA used on the previous phase? When a new phase starts within a programme, it defaults back down to 30MA and I have to manually press up to the desired power.
Thank you.
Hi I have received my neurotrac pelvitone. The instructions say the lead wires should go in to the probe however the probe appears to go into.the unit directly is that correct.

Also I was advised to use this on standing as my pfm are graded a 1 on standing however are 4.5 on lying. When I stand the probe just falls out. Is there a more suitable probe to use in standing. I also have a cystocele.

I was advised to buy the neen pericalm but when I asked neen they advised against it due to cyctocele. I used programme 3 and only really felt it when the ma was in high 50s low 60s is that normal to be that high. My pfm on lying are hypertonic. Are.therr any other programmes I should consider using.

Do you use the pelvitone sitting up or lying down
