Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) as a treatment for hair loss was discovered accidentally. In the Late 1960’s a Physician, Endre Mester, wanted to research the effect of LLLT on cancer. He found that LLLT didn’t cause cancer but instead caused improved hair regrowth in the shaved regions of his test subjects.
