Used both this Herbalistic Detox and the Inulin Prebiotic powder. Cannot praise them highly enough. I went on a detox post Covid, system sluggish, low energy, spots, constipation AND diarrhoea, bad breath and no sex-drive. I knew I needed help, but after some antibiotics got Thrush and knew my body was really suffering.
The detox was an attempt to reset my system and clear out the toxins and just feel better, to feel like me again. The detox is not easy - I went for the full fast and it was not easy, headaches galore - but that's because all the toxins come out. I have shed the excess 10kg I put on in lockdown - I also rebalanced my system and I am not leaking poo. It doesn't smell, my breath is ok and tongue not furry. I can't believe how awful I felt and how unbalanced my system had become. Too much booze I am afraid, but I still have a few drinks at the weekend - but I don't need it to boost my energy.
Real fan of this herbal detox and as my sister is getting married in December we will both do a detox before as a crash diet to lose excess weight. i lost 7kg first time round but more than that I felt that I had more energy and bloody brilliant.

I'd read about a trendy sugar detox diet which would promise to end my craving for sweets and help me to lose weight. What I found was that my sugar cravings were linked to alcohol and that I really needed to tame my sweet tooth. I would get sugar highs and sugar lows so I was definitely convinced that it was sugar addiction.
My BF had tried this and she was raving about it at work. I went dry in October for stop-ctober and I then did this detox on the last week of October. I didn't have the withdrawal from sugar that I thought I would have, but I was also mindful that excess carbs and starch were loading the sugar back into my diet. This detox helped me to eliminate totally the sugar from my diet, well apart from the natural sugars in the juice. However I opted for a vegetable juice rather than a fruit juice. I lost over 8kgs in October through the combined effect of knocking out booze and doing this colon cleanse.
After the Detox I felt really clean, very aware and sharp. I supplemented with probiotics to make sure my system got back to normal. I don't want to totally stop drinking alcohol - I want to be able to have glasses of wine like an ordinary person. However I have become more aware of where the sugar is coming from in my diet and this colon cleanse has really helped me to focus how I can keep a check on any excesses and a way to kick start something better.
I have come back to buy another colon cleanse (thanks for the offer) because I will do Dry January after Christmas and do the colon cleanse again in the last week of January 21, I found this planning helps me to be able to relax at Christmas, enjoy the festivities and not get hung-up about what I can and cannot eat and drink - however that might work in Covidland - but know that I come January I'll hit the ground running for 2021.

I have done a blessed herbs colon detox before and it was not easy, but I did get great results. I felt cle4arer headed and lost over 1 stone in weight. It really is a great way to kick start a diet or weight loss. The thing I found about the BH one was the drink, it swelled up and took the toxins away, but to be honest the bentonite clay was really tough to drink and towards the end of a 10 day detox I was unable to keep it down and I just had to stop. I was after the holy grail of colon plaque and I did achieve that, but when you just can’t stomach another drink it is time to quit!
So fast forward 5 years to the new Herbalistic Colon Detox, I was impressed that I could do 2 types of detox from the same kit – either the Intense or the Flex. I wanted to do the intense because I wanted the best results of both weight loss, and to feel better – I have been through a tough time at work so my stress levels were riding high and a skin condition had flared up again – so I knew my body was telling me something. I just feel fatigued, with brain fog and just ‘off’.
I did Intense for 5 days and I was impressed at how easy it was. I knew that I wouldn’t be able to release colon plaque just doing the cleanse for 5 days, so I continued and did another 10. A_M_A_Z_I_N_G results. So easy to do this detox and the results have been amazing. I had a metal taste in my mouth from day 8 – 10 but I think this was part of the plaque shifting like mad! I have a home enema kit so this helped things along with a home colonic. I lost over 17 lbs, effortlessly. I know the trick is going to be able to stay on this, especially under the stresses and strains of C19 as my partner is a hospital doctor and confining himself to the spare room to keep us all safe. My mind feels clear, my skin is good, and I have such clarity of mind I am amazed. I won’t go back to coffee – I worked out I was spending about £100 per month at my local coffee shop and it is time to go because I feel so much better. However, do be warned, if you go Intense with this Herbalistic cleanse you will get severe withdrawal at day 1 – 3. It is blinding in the headache department – but stick with it, it is so worth it.
If you can, go Intense – its not as hard as a blessed herbs detox and tbh I think ti is an easier cleanse without a doubt – but with better results.

Having been furloughed now for 3 weeks I thought it was a good opportunity to try this. I drink too much coffee and I usually have 2 on my commute to work - 45 mins which sets me up for a day of drinking more. I have wanted to tackle this and this is a good opportunity to do so. Thing is, I find that caffeine is my major stimulant - it fires me up and I was concerned that without it I would not be able to focus on a project I have of my own away from work. My friend recommended this detox because she said I could do it Monday to Friday without it interfering with my weekend off socialising, this was pre lock down of course, now the days tend to merge into one another. I am so pleased I did this detox, 24 - 48 hours was worse for the detox of caffeine, because I was getting over my craving and eliminating the toxins. I did the intense with apple juice as I had been told this would the best way to detox. Much more regular poos, cant believe how much toxins came out, it felt that good. I had a rash on my chest on day 3 - not sure what that was, probably a reaction to my body shifting the toxins, gone by the end of the detox. I did the 5 days and was disappointed that I hadn’t bought 2 so that I could the detox’s back to back and do 10 days. I will do a double detox when my next order arrives, then I will do 2 back to back for a 10 day. I also bought a sieve/colander for the 10 day detox as I am hoping to shift the real tarry mucous plaque. After 5 days I cannot believe how alert and complete I felt. I felt as though it was me in my body - it is hard to explain, I think caffeine and alcohol changes my mood dramatically and to get back to myself was really a revelation. Clear focused and targeted - I am so focused on my project the ideas are flowering. I’m not sure if the praise is because the absence of caffeine is so empowering, or if the elimination of toxins and the loss of 7kg worth of fat filled toxin cells. Probably a combination of both but the clarity is amazing, almost quite ecstatic in a way. I’ve read health blogs where they say you should do a colon detox at least once a year, i agree with that and I want to do a detox every 6 months. I will review how I get on with the 10 day when complete, I don’t expect the change to be as dramatic as Ive already done one, but I’ll wait and see. Excited to have found this detox, I really recommend it to those who are serious about a good health detox.

This is the 2nd time I have done this cleanse. I find it is not too arduous (like Blessed herbs used to be) but the 5 days means I don't lose as much bowel plaque as before. Ideally I think to really shift the older bowel plaque I'd need to do 2 back to back. OK as it is though and fits into work life without being intrusive and you biting off your colleagues heads with detox Rage!

I found this easy to use, I used to use the Blessed Herbs detox kit but they stopped making it, but this is the next best thing. Only think I would have preferred a peppermint option rather than a tumeric one. I used to have the peppermint blessed herbs one. Will deffo use this again!

So after reading so many reviews online, I thought I'd try this for my first ever cleanse and detox. I was worried about having to be near a toilet so I made sure I done this during a time I was mainly at home but in all honesty I didn't need to. I done the 3 day pre-cleanse and then the 5 day Flex (could not bring myself to try the intense but may do in the future). It was really easy to stick to the foods especially as I love fruit and nuts so they were my go to snacks throughout. My stools were softer but not as loose as reviews from other products say which is ideal and were green after the 1st day which is a good sign you are detoxing. I weighed myself before and after and was really surprised to find I lost 6lbs! Also I did not even use half this product as was expecting to receive enough for the one time but I will definitely do this again in a couple of months and in summer now I know I don't have to worry about being too far away from a toilet! Have been recommending this to my friends and family over the past week

I had mixed feelings after finishing the Intense version of this cleanse as I did not get (some of) the results I'd hoped for. However after reading some of the other reviews I can see I need to do 10 days + and 5 days is just not long enough for the plaque removal. I have done the Blessed Herbs cleanse several times (but last time was already 10 years ago!) so felt it was time to do another one. As Blessed Herbs does not see to be available right now I tried this cleanse instead.
On the positive side I did receive other benefits I'd been looking for. I lost, what I call, the 'alcohol bloat' that made me feel puffy and I lost some weight also. I wanted to break the cycle of daily alcohol and caffeine and to re-set my eating patturns. This has definitely happened. For 10 days- (pre cleanse and 5 day juice fast plus 2 days) I cut out all alcohol, caffeine, dairy and sugar. I did not plan to cut these things out forever but just to have more control.
Last night I had a glass of wine in a social setting and one glass, sipped slowly, felt more than enough whereas before it would be just the start! But I do not plan to return to a daily habit- I would just like to be able to enjoy an occasional glass. I'm also open to allowing alcohol to fade out of my lfe completely too. Last year I did Dry January and extended it to June which felt great but the habit crept back- hence the reset.
This morning I had the first post-cleanse coffee with milk and tea with milk. I did not like either. I found I did not enjoy the taste of milk, having switched over to oat milk. I'm not keen on either black tea or black coffee so it looks like my body is telling me that caffeine and milk should remain out of my diet!
So I'm just going to continue with rooibos and oat milk when I need a tea-like fix, plus my favourite herbal teas. My taste for chocolate and biscuits etc is absent right now and I'd like to keep it that way!
I definitely feel it was worth it to do this cleanse to help stop the clock and reset some negative patturns!
Disadvantages
The reason I've given 4 stars is because I feel there could be more information and instructions provided. the little pamphlet I received feels very minimal and there is little extra info available online. I am quite experienced with cleansing and detoxing but for a new comer I think more support would be helpful.
For example there is no mention of the advantages of using a home enema kit. I did an enema daily because otherwise I would have had no bowel movements at all. I increased the daily gut activater pills from one to two and eventually to 3 but to no avail. Despite following all given instructions on drinking lots of water etc I would have felt very clogged up without the enemas. So I think it could be suggested that daily enemas or perhaps a colonic at some point during the cleanse could be beneficial.
I also think its rather misleading to give the impression of large weight loss and significant plaque removal just by doing the 5 day intensive. This is not the case. You need to do much longer (10 days plus) to get the effect. Fortunately enough product is provided in this kit to do just that so I have enough left still to do the whole thing again for 10 days this time.

I read a blog that linked anxiety with toxins in the body, I wasn't sure if it was some Californian New Age stuff, but I decided to give it a try. However I read that withdrawals are common during a detox process (I was prepared for sugar and caffeine in my case) however I was also aware of the fear of these withdrawal symptoms exacerbating my existing anxiety.. It was a bit of a catch 22 situation, but I wanted to try it because I had never done a detox before and at 28 I knew there would be toxins that needed cleansing from my body, but also my anxiety levels seemed to be getting worse. The digestive stimulant certainly gets the bowels moving regularly, and clearing out junk, that felt very natural and no gripes or abdominal pains. However. I felt AWFUL on day 3 of this colon cleanse, possibly the result of no caffeine and the toxins hitting my blood stream, but on day 5 I felt light as a daisy, focussed and not at all anxious. Its almost as it Day 3 was the real turning point.
I would whole heartedly recommend this detox to anyone suffering with anxiety, especially after the first lockdown. As I write this there is a possibility we are going into a 2nd lockdown, so this is a perfect time to do another cleanse for me and I know more what to expect. I am working from home so this is perfect. I don't expect to get colon plaque (the stringy black rubbery stuff that comes off the colon) on a 5 day cleanse, reading up I would have to do at least 10 days plus to get there. That is my next goal! As a reformed meat-eater, I know that there will be loads of animal matter compacted in my colon.
Hope this helps other colon detoxers - its been an education in colon activity!

I’ve done colon detox's in the past, and I like the challenge of a 5 day routine, any longer and I could waver, especially over a weekend. And when I read that Herbalistic was only five days, I thought, I could totally do this. I felt fuller than I thought I would. I actually found this colon detox really easy. Following the hump of day three—definitely the most challenging day of Herbalistic. By the end of this detox, I felt like I had reset my body. I know it’s something I’ll be doing at least once every year, if not more. Lost 4 kg, but that wasn't the target, mind and thought processes so much clearer, focus razor sharp. Love this detox, quite sad when I had to return to the 'real' world!
