However, inappropriate exercises can contribute to pelvic floor injury making some women fearful about exercising. Michelle Kenway, a highly regarded physiotherapist, has designed a workout that allows you to exercise with confidence that you are protecting your pelvic floor.
The Strength and core workout is the perfect general strength workout for women, especially those that have a heightened risk of pelvic floor injury due to poor choices of exercise, including women with prolapse recovering from prolapse surgery, hysterectomy, or child birth.

The DVD includes 45 minutes of strengthening exercises set to music to help you focused and motivated followed by a relaxing 10-minute full body stretching routine for a total 55-minute workout. However, you don’t have to do this all at once, you can select the parts of the routine you want to perform if you are pushed for time.
You can perform the workout without any equipment or if you want to add more resistance and difficulty as you progress you can use an exercise ball and resistance band.
