Lower back pain is actually one of the most common reasons for a visit to a doctor here in the UK and 49% of us Brits report suffering with back pain at least once a year. Back pain costs the NHS a whopping £1billion a year to treat and over 9% of sufferers then go on to develop chronic back pain. Annually nearly 40% of back pain sufferers consult a GP for help with a further 10% will visit an osteopaths or chiropractor privately. So many of us suffer with back pain - but what do we really need to do to naturally beat back pain?

When experiencing back pain it is vitally important to stay active - contrary to popular belief this is not a time to lie down and think of England!  Bed rest will only make back pain worse. Physical exercise can be a very effective method to reduce the pain and discomfort that long-term back pain sufferers experience and combining this with an Abdomend Hem-It-In Belt is a perfect solution. To exercise effectively and keep mobile, when your back is in pain it is vital that those suffering from this kind of discomfort, invest in a support belt that is effective, comfortable and supportive.

Designed for both men and women, these belts allow the body to function properly, holding the stomach in its place and allowing abdominal regions to be better positioned to take on heavy lifting or even just simple daily chores.

For those recovering from surgery wearing one of these Abdomend support belts can help your injury heal faster, through posture support and muscle care.

The Hem-It-In Belt is available in 5 different sizes for your comfort – to find out which size is right for you, measure around your abdomen, 2 inches below your navel:

My little helper Review by Jacmor
Product Rating
I was 5 weeks post op before I got this and so wish I'd ordered one sooner . Wearing this made me feel so much more secure & comfortable following major abdominal surgery & gave me confidence for walking. Also assisted with posture & served as a reminder not to bend over! My incision was already very well healed so I can't comment on how that might feel but I was very comfortable with it over my bikini line . Well worth it - just wished I'd thought about it sooner ! Vital for hysterectomy recovery Review by Sue K
Product Rating
I was recommended to buy this when I elected to have my hysterectomy and it has been a great investment. It has helped with the post hysterectomy bloating and worn constantly during my hysterectomy recovery. I know lots of women complain of hysterectomy weight gain, but I was luck, I think I kept it all in and was mindful of not putting on weight, maybe the belt helped me not pack on the weight I don't know
I would advise any women to go on the Hysterectomy association website and get all the latest up to date information possible to make their hysterectomy as smooth as possible, there are some horror stories, but I would recommend this as a vital essential for all hyster sisters! Miracle worker Review by Laura TV
Product Rating
This belt has been an absolute treasure find! I discovered it via my colleague performing a company search for safety and mobility equipment after operation! I have recently been diagnosed with BRAC1 gene and underwent the double masectomy and oopherectomy surgery as recommended. The latter forces you into menopause which alongside the symptoms which I treated homeopathically also engorges the belly post laparoscopy and you are left with a kangaroo pouch. Having dieted and exercised with it and not yet rid of the belly fat I came across this belt which in three days has changed my body shape and given me absolute relief. I wear it over my nightdress to sleep in and it has been so effective I am now going to try the tummy tucker which is also available on here. For full review and ongoing research check it out at maisonduvann website alongside all the do's and dont's for this condition!
