TENS Machine and EMS Combo for Targeted Pain Relief and Muscle Recovery

The Ultra 9000 TENS works with the provided electrode pads to give relief of pain in any given area of the body. TENS works by sending comfortable electrical impulses through the skin that stimulate the nerve(s) in the treatment area. In many cases, this stimulation will greatly reduce or eliminate the pain a patient is feeling. Pain relief varies in each individual and depends on mode selection and the type/severity of pain. Clinical trials show that in many patients, the reduction or elimination of pain lasts longer than the treatment time - sometimes as much as three to four times as long. In others, pain may only be reduced during the course of treatment. Based on your conditions, your physical therapist will be able to advise you what you may expect when using a TENS machine for pain relief.

How Does EMS Work?

Electrical Muscle Stimulation is an accepted and proven treatment for muscular injuries. It works by sending electronic pulses to the muscles needing treatment; it directly stimulates motor neurons causing the muscles to contract. EMS therapy is widely used in hospitals and sports injury clinics for the treatment of muscular injuries and for the re-education of paralysed muscles, to prevent atrophy in the affected muscles and improve muscle tone and blood circulation.

This clever machine combines both EMS and TENS to alleviate pain and help to:

The Ultra 9000 comes in its own soft, blue carry case with inner sections for each component of the machine. This lightweight case offers protective padding to the machine, whilst being lightweight and compatible for travel so you are never without your TENS/EMS therapy device.
