Prolapse is uncomfortable and often distressing, but a pessary can help
This ring pessary is designed for use in women with first-degree pelvic organ prolapse, and/or cystocele.
This diagram shows the correct position of a ring pessary.
Pessaries are recommended as a first-line treatment for women with pelvic organ prolapse. They can help you to avoid painful surgery, by supporting your pelvic organs and keeping them in the right place. While pessaries cannot cure a pelvic organ prolapse, they can help you to better manage the condition. Wearing a pessary helps to support the vagina and increase the tightness of the muscles and tissues of the pelvis.
The folding design means that insertion and removal is easy, and the soft silicone design is comfortable and easy to wear.
This pessary is available in the following diameters: 7cm, 7.6cm
Please note: initial pessary fitting and sizing should be carried out by a trained healthcare professional.
