Private Gym Treats These Common Men's Health Issues
Improves Sexual Performance & Pleasure
All good things must come to an end, but with Private Gym they are guaranteed to last that little bit longer. In the same way that fitness training enhances athletic endurance and performance, pelvic floor exercise improves sexual stamina and performance.
Reverses & Prevents Erectile Dysfunction
52% of men aged from 40 - 70 experience some form of erectile dysfunction. A strong pelvic floor helps to trap blood in the penis for powerful, longer-lasting erections. It's hard not to get excited by that!
Prevents Premature Ejaculation
As the most common male sexual disorder, premature ejaculation is incredibly distressing for those that suffer and their partners. More control over the pelvis and restricted blood flow out of the penis will help to delay orgasm. See results quickly!
Promotes Urinary Health
Want to put the laughter back into your life? Bladder weakness can be detrimental to emotional as well as physical wellbeing. Stress incontinence, post-void dribbling, and an overactive bladder are likely to affect lifestyle and confidence.
Beneficial for Prostate Health
The prostate gland plays an extremely important role in our bodies; it is responsible for the production of prostatic fluid. Kegel exercises increase blood flow to the pelvic area, thereby improving overall prostate health.
Helps Increase Bowel Control
The pelvic floor plays a vital role in maintaining function of the bowel. Strengthening it can improve the tightness of the sphincter muscles, which helps to alleviate bowel urgency and leakage. Don't let bowel health be at the bottom of your list!
Treats Painful Tension Myalgia
Is finding the right treatment becoming a real pain? The Private Gym will help you relax those tight muscles, by placing focus on the relaxing phases of the programme.
Eases and Prevents Saddle Sports Trauma
The Private Gym will help you get back in the saddle! Saddle sports trauma can lead to erectile dysfunction due to compression of the perineum. Pelvic floor exercise will increase blood flow, and thereby reduce the risk.
Don't worry; we're not going to launch into a full blown science lesson! In fact, it's actually very simple; if you exercise a muscle, it gets stronger. That’s all there is to it. Stronger pelvic floor muscles mean improved bowel/bladder control, better prostate health, powerful, long-lasting erections, and enhanced sexual performance.
2005 saw the publication of the most comprehensive study ever conducted on the effects of pelvic muscle exercises on men in the British Journal of Urology International. The results speak for themselves; with 76% of men experiencing a significant improvement in their erectile function.
Strengthening your pelvic floor muscles may result in:
- Powerful/long-lasting erections
- Enhanced sexual performance
- Intense orgasms and more forceful ejaculation
- Reduction and prevention of bladder weakness
- Reduction or prevention of prostate inflammation
- Increased blood flow to the penis
Kegels For Men
Think Kegels are just for girls? Well, think again. Although not quite so well documented, the pelvic floor muscles are actually of equal importance to men.
Originally identified by Dr. Arnold Kegel as a way of preparing the female body for childbirth, pelvic floor (Kegel) exercises have proven to be an effective method in the prevention and treatment of a number of urinary, bowel and sexual disorders. This can also be applied to men, with the additional benefit of reducing prostate inflammation.
The Private Gym has developed a series of Kegel exercises specifically targeted at men, so that we too can benefit from having strong pelvic floor muscles.
So why not put some muscle into keeping your body healthy?
