When I decided to manage my prolpase instead of opting for surgery I made a real proactive effort to understand what had happened to my body. Why are women suffering prolpase when we did more manual work 30 years ago (I thought it would have been worse then) so I am now more wiser and I know how to look after myself and I have noticed real changes. Quite an epiphany for me really, and very empowering. I exercise properly without putting pressure on my pelvic floor, I watch my weight like a hawk, I don't strain to go to the toilet and I feel empowered by taking control. There is lots of help out there and a whole raft of women to offer help and support I have been pleasantly surprised. Thank you. (Posted on 2 April 2015)

After prolapse surgery I was confused to know which kinds of exercises would be safe to do having done yoga for many years. The information and guidelines i received in the prolapse recovery pack have made me feel confident to carry on with modifications to my usual routines with safety. I reviewed this pack a couple of days ago and my recommendation was not to waste your money. I have since re-read the book in the pack and have found it really helpful in understanding what a prolapse is and what needs to be done to protect it from getting worse and indeed how the difficulties associated with it can be improved. I found the section on exercises that can make the condition worse really helpful I now need to change much of what I do in my exercise routine fortunately Michelle tells you how to modify and progress exercises as the pelvic floor improves. Exercises include how to strengthen the pelvic and core abdominal muscles.

Some of the exercises can be seen on You Tube but being able to watch them progressively on the DVD is really helpful. None of this information was provided to me by the professionals I consult with re my condition.

I apologise to Michelle for not fully recognising the benefits of this pack which I recommend; and I still recommend getting an exercise ball to help doing the programme comfortably. (Posted on 22 February 2018)
