This durable and accurate talking watch is designed for blind or partially sighted people.
It speaks the date and time in a clear, easy to understand voice, using atomic time signals via radio to give split second accuracy. The large, digital display has a backlight for those who have some sight to make ready it as easy as possible.
Radio signals automatically adjusts the watch between summer and winter time, which means there is no need to re-programme or adjust it manually. When the user presses the alarm button the watch speaks to them to guide them through the correct way to set the alarm.
This watch is designed to be durable and reliable, with a high-impact resin case and strap. The total length of the watch is 24cm but it has holes right the way along the strap to ensure it fits any wrist. It has been fully approved as fit for use by the Royal National Institute for Blind People and 40p per each unit sold goes to the RNIB.
