Nice female voice. Clear numbers, sturdy glass surface. only GLARING problem is that it does cut off very often. U might have to get on the scale 5 or 6 times to get an accurate reading. U may step on, be very still and it takes forever to stop fluctuating and settle on a number. If it cant. it just shuts off. has done this repeatedly.
