The Evolis 3P is an innovative vaginal probe which will connect to your Kegel8 or other device using a lead wire, to provide you with stimulating electrical pulses that work to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles.
Unique ‘Balloon’ Design Means You Can See Your Muscles Working
Due to its shape and size, the probe fits comfortably and securely in to the vagina with limited risk of downward or sideways movement. The ‘balloon’ design of the Evolis 3P means that when plugged in to your Kegel8 or other suitable unit, you can physically see the resistance your pelvic floor muscles are providing; over time you should see the amount of resistance increase as you train your pelvic floor muscles to become stronger.
As you get stronger you can increase the settings to challenge your pelvic floor muscles further, much like increasing the weights at the gym as your body gets used to a workout.
Why Use A Vaginal Probe?
The pelvic organs are supported by ligaments, muscles and connective tissues, collectively known as the pelvic floor. As we get older and our production of collagen depletes, the pelvic floor becomes weaker allowing the pelvic organs to slip down, resulting in prolapse. This is where the uterus, bladder and rectum either protrude into the vagina or press against the wall of the vagina.
This unpleasant condition is most common in postmenopausal women who have carried children but is not unheard of for younger women or those who have never had a child.
Research has shown that simple daily exercises using a vaginal probe such as the Evolis 3P will strengthen your pelvic floor muscles to prevent and possibly even reverse genital prolapse. The other option is major surgery which can have a huge impact on your life until recovery is complete. Strengthening the pelvic floor muscles the natural way is painless and takes very little time out of your day – you can do it whilst you sit and enjoy a night in front of the television or in the car on your commute to work – it’s that simple!
The use of a vaginal probe to strengthen your pelvic floor has also proven to be effective in fighting bladder weakness/urinary incontinence, allowing you to enjoy life without worrying about surprising leaks or desperately searching for the nearest public toilet.
It’s Never Too Late…Nor Too Early!
If you are already suffering the effects of a prolapse and have a pessary in place to help control it, you can still use a probe to strengthen those muscles so get started straight away, the sooner you start the sooner you can recover and start enjoying life again.
Even if you are young, fit and healthy it’s never too early to start pelvic floor exercises. Starting now gives you the best chance of avoiding prolapse and/or bladder weakness when you are older or after you have had children. It has also been suggested that those who can activate their pelvic floor experience deeper and more enjoyable sensitivity during love making.
The Core and The Floor
The muscles in your stomach and back are deeply connected to your pelvic floor muscles, so it’s important to keep these muscles strong and healthy for back and abdominal support. You don’t want to be someone who groans getting off the couch when you’re in your mid-thirties, so start now and you’ll never look back.
