Wrap yourself up in luxury with the Boo Living Bamboo Duvet Cover

Do you struggle to get comfortable in bed and feel generally irritable?  Or do you simply find it a challenge to wake up in the morning, feel groggy and have difficulty concentrating?  Well, for those of us with dust mite allergies or skin sensitivity, bamboo bedding is the perfect choice.

This luxurious Bamboo Duvet Cover is made from a fine combination of 60% bamboo and 40% cotton.  Intricately crafted to look just as luxurious as it feels, it feels gentle against even the most sensitive skin, even for those with allergies or eczema.  Cotton bedding can feel scratchy and uncomfortable, but you can relax and drift off with ease in your new Bamboo Duvet Cover.

Bamboo carries with it multiple health benefits and is naturally more hygienic than cotton.  Additionally it is much more eco friendly.  The fabric is cleverly layered to ensure that you are always at the optimal temperature and it is innovatively woven to draw sweat away from the body during the night.

The Boo Living Bamboo Duvet Cover is machine washable at 30 degrees and dries quickly.

Take cover from unwanted allergies!

Think your house is devoid of dust mites?  Think again!

Think your house is so clean that you could give Kim and Aggie a run for their money?  Well, those that are on top of their dusting and hovering could be forgiven for thinking that there are no dust mites causing chaos in their home.  However, even the most anal amongst us could unknowingly have thousands of little dust mites floating around in our homes; aggravating our allergies and making us feel generally unwell.  Just 1 gram of dust can accommodate up to 19,000 of the tiny creatures[1].  Because they feed on dead skin, of which the average adult sheds approximately 1.5 grams per day, there is plenty of food to sustain up to a million of the creepy crawlies[2].  Dust mites are the cause of allergic reactions amongst more than 12 million people in the UK[3].

Typical cleaning procedures can, in many cases, make the problem worse.  Dust can be forced up into the air only to resettle on other surfaces or cling to fabrics.  In addition, because of the many substances contained within dust, most typical cleaning products can do little to eradicate it completely.  It may surprise you to learn that dust and dust mites will even make their way into our bedding.

You could suffer with a dust mite allergy and not even realise it.  Allergy UK refers to the symptoms as “home fever”, because they are very much similar to that of hay fever.  Obvious signs include sneezing, itchy eyes and a runny nose, but something as simple as feeling groggy when you wake up and struggling to concentrate in the morning could also be an indication.

Dust mites are naturally repelled by bamboo, which makes it the perfect material for bedding.  You will wake up feeling refreshed after having the perfect amount of sleep.  No more lack of sleep, constant rubbing of the eyes upon waking up or feeling groggy and unwell.

Sleep easy and put those worries to bed!

You’ll never get tired of having a good night’s sleep

Boo Living Duvet Cover

Want to know the benefits of buying bamboo?  Well, not only are there multiple health advantages, it is also the eco friendly option.  Unlike cotton, bamboo doesn’t require pesticides or fertilisers to grow and only needs a small amount of water.  Additionally, it absorbs more carbon dioxide from the air and releases more oxygen than cotton does.  Boo Living bamboo is strictly sourced from an FSC accredited supplier with high conservation values.

Where chemicals are used in the growing and treatment of materials there is always a possibility that they are retained within the fabric.  In terms of bedding, this could result in them being absorbed by our skin.  Bamboo contains an internal agent which means that it doesn’t need chemicals to grow.  This agent is also found in bamboo fabrics and it controls bacteria growth on the skin.

Bamboo fabric feels silky smooth against even the most sensitive of skin.  It is antibacterial, antifungal, hypoallergenic and there’ll be no fear of nasty dust mites causing you distress.  Clever layering ensures that you’re always at the optimum temperature, whether it’s the height of summer or the coldest nights of winter.  So you’ll look forward to going to bed each and every night and you certainly won’t want to get up in the morning, but it won’t be because you haven’t had enough sleep. Bamboo really is the much healthier and more comfortable option.

Better health stems from switching to bamboo!

Product Questions

One is advised to wash bedding at 60 degrees to fully cleanse bedding but you recommend wahing at 30degrees, why? Will washing at a higher temperature damage the material?
Are these covers oeko-tex certified?
Where can I get them cheaper:

Is the cotton GOTS certified?
This is a shockingly uncompetitive price. I already have two of these I got so much cheaper and they are lovely.

If you wash at 30 it won't kill germs, you have to wash at 60.
What is the grams per square metre of this duvet cover?
