Be Beach Ready With Our Beurer Epilator Giveaway

Golden sands, blue sea, Bank Holidays and stubble – did you notice the odd one out? We have all experienced it, Saturday we are sleek and smooth enough for the kaftan to sexily slide down onto the floor before we do our version of the Baywatch run down to the waves. The next day the sun has us rushing down to the beach again. But pulling off the flip flops you feel the rough scratch on your leg. And no, it isn’t sand.

Sure, no one will notice, the stubble is smaller than your teeny tiny itsy bitsy new bikini. You’ll be splashing in the sea again anyway, and the sun is already bleaching your hair lighter. What is there to worry about? Although, perhaps I won’t dive for the beach ball in case my lover brushes against my skin as we play. It’s still a warm evening, but wearing leggings won’t make me too hot, will it?

epilator Be ever ready with two speeds, LED light and epilation, precision, shaving and exfoliation attachments.

To make sure you are always left with the softest, silkiest skin and full of confidence this summer,  we are giving three lucky people the chance to win a Beurer HLE 60 Epilator. Epilators take the hair out from the root, giving up to 4 weeks of hair-free smooth skin. The grow back time is much longer compared to shaving and hair removal cream, and when the hair does grow back, it is finer and softer than before.

The Beurer HLE 60 Epilator offers epilation, shaving and exfoliation, that's 3-in-1! It removes even the finest hairs for silky skin. There is an integrated light to give the user optimal light conditions and can be used on dry or wet skin. The HLE 60 has two speeds, a washable epilator head containing 20 antiallergic pairs of tweezers and it comes with an exfoliation attachment to prevent ingrowing hairs, to leave long-lasting, beautiful results.

The quick charge function gives your two hours of using time for just 30 mins of charging. There is a battery level indicator, but if you are caught half way on low battery, you can use the Beurer HLE 60 Epilator on the mains operator. Perfect for home and travel use.

How to enter

For your chance to win one of three Beurer HLE 60 Epilators, all you need to do is follow @StressNoMoreUK on Twitter, like the Stress No More Facebook Page, or comment below sharing your beach beauty faux pas or a great summer beauty tip. You don't have to do just one, do all three to have three chances of winning! Enter your details on the form below by 6th June 2014 and we will choose the winners at random. The giveaway is open to UK residents aged 18 and over.

I'm originally from a town on the coast in Italy and I travel there every summer, the sun can be very powerful there so I know a trick or two to stay cool on the beach: always make sure to keep hydrate drinking plenty of water, use coconut oil (any oil is great but coconut look the moisture in the skin more than other oils), spray your body with fresh water time to time help to mantain the skin moisturized and to tan faster, finally use a menstrual cup! With it you won't have to skip a single day on the beach, you can swim, and it'll avoid those embarassing situations cused by strings and wings ;-)

If you are sensitive to sun lotion on your face, as I am, look for a moisturiser with a high factor. Take care if your hair also if you have a parting, wear a hat or use sun hair product.

As I have rosacea my main tip is wear a hat and a good sensitive skin sun lotion. Plenty of water and aftersun after the beach.

  • HazelY

Hydrate on the inside and out! That means plenty of water, fruit and fresh veggies such as salads and lots of moisturiser! Also, use a mineral powder foundation wthat gives you some SPF. Can be mixed with your normal moisturiser for a ligher look and offers some more protection for your face.

  • Fran H

You've put suncream everywhere. You're lying in the sun. Then when you open your eyes you realise your eyelids missed out on the SPF/ sunglasses. Agony for the rest of the holiday!! Learn from my mistake!! ;)
