The best way to combat this is to practice active sitting – ensuring that your postural muscles are engaged at all times and that you are frequently adjusting your position. How does the posture cushion work?
This pre-inflated disk gives you a cushioned but subtly unstable surface to sit on. This means that your body has to make continuous micro-movements in order to balance, helping you to stay perfectly aligned without thinking about it. Light and portable, the cushion can be placed on any chair and comes with a soft fabric cover that’s machine washable. Bac< recommend gradually increasing the time you spend sitting on the cushion in 30 minute bursts as you feel your muscles getting stronger. You will find that you start sitting perfectly even without the cushion!
The Posture Cushion can also be used to improve your posture while standing. Just remove the cover, place it on the floor and stand on top of it.
