Martin Lewis, the creator of B-Warm, developed the Heated Seat Cover to help his wife find relief from her arthritis and to keep her warm. This was after discovering that other warming pads that were ineffective, expensive and easily broken.  Martin decided that it was time to take matters into his own hands, and designed a heated chair cover that worked with similar technology that is used for electric blankets whilst replicating the heat pattern of heated car seats. 73% improvement in wellbeing - 74% reduction in pain levels

A study by HTC Healthcare Technology Centre, Swansea University, found that 75 per cent of the volunteers declared an improvement in subjective wellbeing with 73.9 per cent declaring a reduction in their pain level by using the B-Warm Heated Seat Cover & Chair Warmer.

Mr Lewis said: "I developed the B-Warm to help my late wife Audrey keep warm in a rather cold damp cottage. Following her death in 2016 and having realised its physiological and energy saving benefits, it seemed only right to promote and build the product’s reputation which also helped me overcome my loss by keeping me busy.”

He now hopes the research being carried out by the University will provide important additional evidence about his product’s health benefits.
