Description

To keep your pelvic floor strong and supportive it is vital to perform pelvic floor exercises.

Sadly for many of us we think we are doing our squeeze and release exercises correctly but we are not! Fear not because the Educator is the quick and easy way to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles accurately.

Using the Educator whilst doing your kegels gives you a visual indication of whether you are squeezing the right muscles. The clever indicator wands moves downwards when you do a correct exercise, so you can make sure every single contraction is perfect and you get the most out of your exercise session.

The Educator can be used for all kinds of pelvic floor and incontinence problems, including those caused by pregnancy and child birth, the menopause and weight issues, and it literally puts you back in control.

Neen Educator was featured on Embarassing Bodies as a remedy to urinary incontinence

Does the same as some cones so beware! Review by Shona K
Product Rating
This is a small gadget that shows you when you are correctly exercising the pelvic floor muscles. It is neat shaped and it fits inside so that when you squeeze the pelvic floor muscles the wand or stick bit goes down.
I bought this after being recommended it by my Women's Physiotherapist (to make sure I stopped using my bum and thighs and isolated my pelvic floor muscles) .
However I also bought this with the Kegel8 Cones - not realising that the kegel8 cones do exactly the same thing but more! My bad!
So basically I could have just bought the cones and not bothered with this! I use the cones and they work really well and keep me focussed on exercising the correct muscles every time. Soooo, if you are using Kegel8 weighted vaginal cones then you don't need this, but if you just need to see how your kegels work, and move the #magic wand' then this is for you! However I was told by my Physio that all pelvic floor exercises were best to be done against weighted resistance, and this is lightweight, so I don't think this would actually count.
My pelvic floor is getting much stronger and nealy at nil with the leaks so the cones have worked for me. (Posted on 3 June 2013)

Product Questions

Hi I was diagnosed with strong hypertonic pfm (lying only exam) and was told to do kegel exercises using neen pelvic educator.

On subsequent visit I advised physio that when coughing the educator flew out she thought strong as my pfm were strong until she witnessed it. She examined me standing and when I coughed something come.down she never fully explained but advised that in standing my pfm were at the other end of the scale and didn't know how to . engage she advised me to buy the neen pericham machine. On returning home I tried the pelvic educator in.standing and it just falls out would only stay in if I held it. I called and asked if this would happen with the pericham probe she advised it would.

Would any of your products be able to help me strengthen my pfm in standing position and prevent worsening of prolapse. She did briefly mention surgery but I am not keen on that option. Many thanks
