Are you experiencing symptoms of menopause? Use this simple menopause test kit to find out in minutes if you're "going through the change".
Why perform the early menopause test?
Women reach menopause at an average age of 50, however, variations occur and women can reach menopause as early as 39 or as late as 69 years of age. This test allows you to reliably identify whether you have gone through the menopausal transition or not.
Who is the home menopause test for?
Women who think they may have reached the stage of menopause.
What is the interpretation of results?
For optimum results, the test should be carried out in the morning. Results should not be interpreted after 15 minutes.
What is menopause?
Menopause means the last menstrual period. Periods stop because the low levels of oestrogen and progesterone do not stimulate the endometrium (lining of the womb) in the normal cycle. Hormone levels can fluctuate for several years before eventually becoming so low that the endometrium stays thin and does not bleed. Symptoms include hot flushes, vaginal itching and dryness, sweating, insomnia, depression, heart problems, low libido, dry eyes, painful joints and slow digestion.
What should you do if the result is positive?
You should consult your doctor who can confirm the post menopause and help you find the most suitable way to reduce the symptoms.

Your implant contains a progestogen hormone which slowly releases into the body. On checking the instructions it states that a result would be unreliable, because of oral contraception - but it does not state anything about contraception implants so I am unable to give you an answer on this.
As this test measures FSH any additional hormone added to the body, and any other medication too, could give an unreliable reading.
I don't think it would be suitable, but it is one to ask your GP I am afraid, just to be 100% sure.
If you move away from the implant do consider Caya http://www.stressnomore.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?cat=0&q=caya&_antispam=antispam_644 we sell loads!

I am afraid I cannot answer that question categorically, obviously the test is pointing to raised levels of the http://www.stressnomore.co.uk/downloads/instructions/10159-IFUS.pdf FSH levels and providing you have completed the test correctly and read the results after 15 mins as described, you should follow the instructions where they state that you should repeat the test 1 week after a positive test to get a true reflection.
I hope this helps
