Double the power of your pelvic floor workout with the Perisize Vaginal Probe - to be used with electronic pelvic floor exercisers such as Kegel8 and Neurotrac
The Perisize is a vaginal probe ideal for those with a nickel allergy. The 4 electrodes are nickel-free making it the safe choice if you have ever suffered nickel intolerance. These 4 hemispherical electrodes are each connected to your Kegel8 individually via two lead wires giving you independent control of each side of the probe. The ability to use your probe in this way is great if you have a loss of feeling to just one side of your pelvic floor muscles; this is known as asymmetry and can often be a result of childbearing as the baby's head applies pressure to one side of your pelvic floor.
The ability to control each side of the probe independently of the other allows you to have the mAs higher on the side which you have experienced nerve damage and usually do not feel the stimulation pull of your standard probe. The Perisize should be inserted into the vagina with the hemispherical electrodes facing down. It is easy to insert, comfortable and very light-weight.
We recommend that this probe lasts around 60 uses, however it can normally last much longer. We recommend that you check the gold plating on the electrodes frequently for any signs of wear and replace as necessary.
The Perisize Probe uses both channels of your Kegel8 and therefore requires two lead wires, which can be purchased in the pack size variant option when adding to basket.
How to use your Perisize Probe
It's easy to get great results from your Perisize probe, just follow these simple instructions:
1. Hold the probe with the gold balls facing downwards.
2. Remove the plastic bar across the bottom of the probe by sliding it forwards.
3. Squeeze the probe to make it easier to insert - see picture.
4. Insert the probe into the vagina with the balls facing down.
5. Attach a lead wire to each 'tail' of the probe, then insert one of the lead wires into each channel of your pelvic floor exerciser.
6. Choose the programme that you wish to use on each channel of your machine. Increase the mAs on both channels. If you suffer from nerve damage on one side, you can increase the mAs higher on this side.
7. When you have finished, remove the probe by pulling one side to avoid the probe nipping.
8. Clean the probe with Kegel8 Klean and store in the original bag to prolong the life of the probe.
This probe is fitted with 2mm male pigtail connectors and are compatible with most TENS/STIM/EMG machines via your lead wire.
Purchase this product on its own or with 2 lead wires in the pack size variant option when adding to basket.

- Good but not the best Review by Dimples
Nickel free means no more thrush
Easy to clean
Has two channels, so user can stimulate simultaneously or at differing levels. This really helped when one side was feeling a tad sore and needed a lower amp than the other for a few sessions.
It nips upon insertion and again when removing, even following instructions.
It never felt comfortable no matter how much lubrication was used or position tried.
The gold plating scratches very easily. (Posted on 2 September 2016)
- It pinches and falls apart Review by Phae
Thank you for your feedback. I wonder if you would like to try the new Kegel8 Glide Gold probe - it is amazing. It is very strong, and you can wear it and walk around. I think the shape might be better for you, but you cannot have dual channel control with it.
Please contact me personally and I will arrange for you to try one with our complements!

- Great probe Review by SmileyT
I make sure that when I remove it I do so with one side only and it works just fine.
I have a slight prolapse and was recommended this because it has the filled in centre the prolapse cannot work its way into the gap.
Excellent help line as always, and fast delivery - would recommend whole heartedly this company and product. (Posted on 26 March 2015)
- Excellent probe Review by Jo
- Nickel Wears off too Quickly Review by ButterflyJak
The probe is a very good shape, just a shame the gold plating doesn't last long enough. Was advised to try it using a condom, but the machine doesn't work. Only other idea is maybe applying nail varnish!
We're sorry you're not happy with the Perisize. Due to the nature of the gold-plating on this probe it does need replacing regularly, but many women with nickel allergies have reported that it is worth the extra expense to use gold-plated probes since they are so much more comfortable and they give better connectivity than standard nickel probes. We do recommend that this probe lasts around 60 uses so if you were using it every day for 8 weeks it isn't unusual that the gold plating has started to wear off. Please do not apply nail varnish to your current probe as this will stop the electrodes from conducting! We don't like to leave our customers unsatisified so if you would like to contact us directly we could arrange for a new Perisize to be sent to you.

- Best probe for me by far Review by Aaminah K
The best probe for me by far. (Posted on 19 July 2013)
- Fabulous Review by Caz
I have a prolapse and a lot of damage caused by traumatic childbirth.
This probe is wonderful - I can increase the MA's on the side I have lost sensation and feel like I am getting a really good work out. Very pleased indeed. (Posted on 11 July 2013)
We wouldn't really recommend the perisize probe for rectocele but we would suggest trying the Perisphera U http://www.stressnomore.co.uk/beacmed-perisphera-u-perineal-probe-10090.html
The Perisphera U holds four electrodes on two circuits to give you optimum stimulation for your pelvic floor muscles. The two, large flat base electrodes provide global stimulation, while the two ‘saddle-shape’ electrodes on the side offer undifferentiated stimulation to the left and right branches of the pubococcygeal muscle. For optimum use, it is advised to use all four electrodes. However, the two circuits of Perisphera U can be used separately when desired.
These can be utilised with the Kegel 8 Ultra 20 unit for optimum pelvic floor work outs http://www.stressnomore.co.uk/kegel8-ultra.html

The perisize probe has a filled in inner purely for this reason so it is safe to use with prolapse.
Make sure you follow the instructions for removal http://www.stressnomore.co.uk/perisize-nickel-free-vaginal-probe.html make sure you remove just holding one side, if you hold both side it can 'nip' and it is designed to be removed holding one side only to prevent this.
It is lightweight, and very good for targeting the back part of the pelvic floor where the majority of the pelvic floor muscle are.so it is one of our favourites.
