Your kegel muscles are known as involuntary muscles this means if you don't exercise them they will weaken and eventually waste-away (atrophy).
The first you'll know about this weakness are the warning signs such as bladder weakness and reduced sensitivity. The good news for us is that with some simple, regular exercises, you can regain control and improve sensation!
Exercising with the Energie™ is easy; lying down, relax your vaginal and pelvic muscles and insert the Energie™ placing it just inside the vaginal opening. For ultimate comfort, try using a gentle lubricant such as our KE Gel.
A great feature of the Energie™ is you can change the resistance of your exercising as your muscles become stronger; we recommend you begin by inserting the larger, heavier end, as this leaves the lighter end as your weight to work against as you first begin to exercise. As you muscle strength increases, change to inserting the smaller end to increase the weight you are working with.
Take a deep breath, and as you breathe out, pull the pelvic floor muscles up as if you are trying to hold in wind, hold for thirty seconds and release. Repeat ten times and in 5 minutes you're done! Quick and simple!
