The NeuroTrac MultiTENS has dual channel TENS and EMS device for pain relief and muscle rehabilitation in one.
How does the MultiTENS work?
NeuroTrac introduce the MultiTENS which boasts the ability to run two programmes at once, allowing you to control your pain more effectively. Pain can be managed in two ways; via the 'pain gate mechanism' whereby pain signals are prevented from reaching the brain; and the release of endorphins - the body's natural pain killing hormone. The NeuroTrac MultiTENS delivers both of these methods at once.
The NeuroTrac MultiTENS also has the ability to deliver treatment in two different forms; TENS or EMS. In TENS, mild electrical impulses are sent through the skin via electrodes to modify the body's perception of pain.
TENS will not cure physiological conditions but is professionally recommended and used widely for managing pain associated with conditions such as Arthritis, Lumbago, Osteoporosis, Sciatica, Caner Pain, Period Pain and much, much more.
EMS treatment stimulates muscle and nerve fibres to treat a number of muscle and nerve related conditions such as sports injuries, continence and stroke. EMS is also popular with sports and fitness professionals to increase muscle strength and warm muscles prior to exercise.
The NeuroTrac MultiTENS has been vastly improved from previous NeuroTrac TENS units, not only in its dual function but it also boasts a clear, bright backlit LCD display and improved keypad with bigger, simple keys for ease of use. With the MultiTENS you get 13 pre-set TENS programmes, 4 EMS programmes and 3 available programmes for customisation by your therapist. These customisable programmes can contain up to 5 phases and feature a simple setup option for a single phase programme which you can set yourself.
The NeuroTrac MultiTENS Programmes
NeuroTrac MultiTENS has 13 pre-set TENS programmes which can be selected separately for each channel. - TENS Machine Review - Works 2 places at once, great idea. Review by sky_lite82
I also used the muscle stimulation mode when I recently broke my shoulder and found that mu muscle had become really weak, that was almost a rehabilitation mode (which I suppose is exactly what it is) and I found this very good and it helped to speed up my recover (I think anyway).
Hope this helps other looking for a TENS machine, I know so many Tens reviews can be either for or against, with many still not embracing the theory of blocking the pain signal, all I can say is it works for me very well.I also think that if you are in that much pain, then you should try anything you can, I took pain killers for 4 years and had less and less effect as the time went on. I was scared to up my does and go on stronger medications and now I don't take any prescription medications, just use my TENS and feel better for it. (Posted on 7 September 2013)

- Use with TENS pads and glove Review by Bob S
Yes it is, especially when used with conductive garments as seen here. The unit is however supplied with skin electrode pads which can be used in pain areas. The benefits of TENS machines is that you treat the pain directly, rather than medicating the whole body with pain killing drugs.
Can I also point you in the direction of the paraffin wax bath the Elle by Beurer MPE70 Paraffin Bath - it is selling like hot cakes with rave reviews from users - I think is it very effective by all accounts http://www.stressnomore.co.uk/elle-by-beurer-mpe70-paraffin-bath-92902.html
Hope this helps

The Manufacturer has specified on the product page that this unit can help with associated pain with arthritis. I would certainly recommend downloading the available user guide and reading through the instructions to see if the product is right for your wife.
