Light up your life with the smart and portable Innolux Rondo LED light therapy lamp
Energy efficient and multipurpose, the Rondo LED lamp is a great choice if you want the benefits of light therapy in a compact and easy to transport format. Designed and made in Finland, the sleek and minimalist design of this lamp brings to mind the best of Scandinavian interior design. LED technology uses light emitting diodes that are highly energy efficient and require no servicing. The Rondo’s beautiful, round light sits on an airy, steel base that will look the part in both home and office environments. At 32cm tall, it’s small enough to take with you while retaining the power that has made Innolux a leading name in medical therapy lights. A larger version of this SAD lamp won at the European Consumers Choice Awards 2011, so you can be sure that it’s of the best quality.
How can bright light therapy benefit me?
Conditions such as Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.) are very common in countries in the Northern hemisphere, due to our long, dark winters. Spending so much time away from natural light can lead to depression, lack of energy and a general loss of enthusiasm for life. Bright light therapy is an established and medically approved treatment for these symptoms that has been used for over 30 years. Studies have shown that regular use of a light such as the Innolux Rondo can reduce symptoms of S.A.D. by 60-90%, increasing energy levels and supporting the body’s circadian rhythms. Just 30 minutes a day in front of your Rondo LED light therapy lamp will help you to live a happier, more fulfilled life, whatever the season.
Creating the right light therapy programme for you
Included with the Innolux Rondo is a guide on how best to use it for your specific needs and symptoms. Bright light therapy is easy to fit into your lifestyle as you are free to do other things during it – reading, working, even watching tv. Simply position the SAD lamp 38cm from your face for 30 minutes to 2 hours. The therapy is most effective between 6 and 10 in the morning, as this is the right time for it to stop your melatonin (the sleep hormone) production in a way that helps you stay awake during the day. However, there can also be benefits from undertaking the treatment later in the day – if you suffer from jetlag or other sleep disorders, using the Rondo in the afternoon can help to reset your circadian rhythm and get your sleep cycle back to normal. By using the treatment diary provided in the back of the instruction booklet to track which times work well for you, it’s easy to make sure that you’re getting the best results possible from your lamp. With the help of your Innolux Rondo light therapy lamp you can love life all year round!

- Yes I do feel energised Review by Rosie Jones
Delighted with my purchase, early days but I do feel more energised and yes, I do not feel as tired. I am genuinely interested how I will feel in February as I usually crash then without a doubt!
Fingers crossed it keeps delivering an improvement in my energy levels and 'well being' what ever that might mean. (Posted on 16 December 2015)
