Description

Do you understand your blood pressure and why you should be keeping track of it with a digital blood pressure monitor?

Your blood pressure is the pressure of the blood in your circulatory system, often measured for diagnosis since it is closely related to the force and rate of the heartbeat and the diameter and elasticity of the arterial walls. If you suffer from high blood pressure then investing in a good blood pressure monitor will help you keep on track. You are likely to have high blood pressure (hypertension) if your blood pressure readings are consistently 140 over 90 or higher over a number of weeks, so monitoring it closely is of high importance. You may also have high blood pressure if just one of the numbers is higher than it should be over a number of weeks.

The Dr. Frei M-400A Digital Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor is a fully automatic digital blood-pressure measuring device for use on the upper arm. It enables very fast and reliable measurements of the systolic and diastolic blood-pressure as well as the pulse frequency by way of the oscillometric method of measuring.

Beneficial features to help you monitor your blood pressure levels with ease

Blood Pressure Icons

Located on the left side in the display is the blood pressure indicator. Once your measurement has been processed a colour will be displayed in the bars on the left part of the display. Green signifies optimal blood pressure. Yellow signifies elevated and orange indicates it’s too high. Red indicates that it’s dangerously high. This function helps you to evaluate your results.

CAM technology – Clinically accurate measurements

The M-400A Digital Blood Pressure Monitor incorporates CAM technology meaning you can enjoy a level of accuracy which is second to none. It’s recommended by cardiologists that you always take several measurements and calculate your average value. The device in the CAM mode automatically takes 2 measurements in succession, analyses the results and displays the ready values. What could be easier?

Advanced irregular heartbeat detection

Your Dr. Frei M-400A Digital Blood Pressure Monitor indicates an allorhythmic heartbeat. If the symbol of IHB Advanced appears on the display it’s indicating that abnormality in heart beat frequency was detected during the measurement. In this case, the result may deviate from your normal blood pressure - repeat the measurement.

Simple to use, the technology of the Dr. Frei M-400A Digital Blood Pressure Monitor ensures blood pressure monitoring couldn’t be easier.
