Over the years I have had 4 bartholin's gland cysts, I refuse to let surgeons remove the glands, and there is little that can be done, other than leaving them to swell and become infected before bursting. The pain is excruciating, let alone the fact you can't walk or sit down and feel nauseous too. I have even tried popping it when it gets infected and piercing it with a sterilized needle, all of which is painful and harrowing. I have had my bartolins gland lanced in hospital, and twice it has burst. It is always been an ominous feeling when I start to feel the swelling again. I have tried the hot baths, sitz baths everything, this is the only thing that has ever worked for me. I used it several times a day, blasted the gland with the laser. It is painless, and I just kept doing it for about 5 days and the swelling decreased, the gland never reached the excruciating bursting point it has previously and it slowly diminished and disappeared. What an absolute relief, I have no problem recommending this for and infected Bartolins gland, and I suspect it works the same way for acne and other blemishes, although I have not used it for that.Product Rating
It is also supposed to be good for wrinkles but so far I have not tried it yet. It will remain by my side for if and when I have that desperate feeling of 'Oh No Not Again' Bartholins moment. If you are a sufferer you will know exactly what I mean. (Posted on 4 September 2012)
