The Beurer EM10 Body TENS Mini Pad is self-adhesive and will massage or relieve general pain on any part of the body.
This extremely thin, flexible and discreet pad will adapt perfectly to the part of your body you wish to treat. Made from high quality silicone, the Beurer EM10 Body TENS Mini Pad is specially designed to target pain relief on all parts of the body using TENS therapy.
TENS machines are excellent alternatives to pain relief medication which can cause drowsiness, but the machines can be difficult to use when out and about since they require seperate surface electrodes to be attached to the area of pain. This discreet TENS pads gives targeted pain relief on any part of the body, and its discreet enough to be worn beneath clothing at any time. Plus, it's far easier to travel with than a TENS machine, so you can take it with you wherever you go and feel confident that pain relief is available at all times.
The pad offers 15 levels of adjustable intensity for each 20 minute session that it is worn, and the replaceable 3V CR2032 battery last for up to 20 sessions. After 20 minutes the pad automatically switches off, but can easily by turned back on again with the push of a button so that if the pain returns you can treat it again.
Quick, easy and discreet!

I think Beurer themselves realised that they have confused customers (and a confused customer does not buy!). They are infact phasing out the yellow one and keeping the blue one - apparently they might make this white eventually and have it as a plain and simple (but very effective) TENs pain killing device for use all over the body.
There used to be a pink on for period pains but that went first, so go for the blue, it is the best seller and it will do both your back and your knee, and any other body part that give you pain!
May I also point you towards infrared lamps http://www.stressnomore.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?cat=0&q=infrared+lamp I use one personally and I wouldn't be without it. They stimulate blood flow and circulation by up to 400% and this takes away pain and stiffness. I am always amazed after a days gardening when I am dead on my feet I have 15 20 mins with the lamp on my back (but particularly elbow and wrist on my dominant hand). Beurer is a German brand, and they use infrared lamps a lot for pain relief, we wonder if because of our different health care systems the Germans are more keen to try alternative treatments and steer away from medicated pain relief.
I hope this helps, sorry for adding my bit, but you are already trying TENS so you are not totally sold on medication!

Could you please advise me if this is the same as the body version and can be used anywhere on the body or do I need to return this Item and reorder the body version .
Thank you for your attention.
However as this was our mistake, I am sorry and I shall arrange for you to have a blue one as you originally ordered. Please keep the yellow TENS machine one with our compliments, I am sorry we got it wrong!.

At first I managed to get to work on my arm.
When I tried to use it on my back it would not work at all. i.e. it would not give a long beep.
Tried again on my arm, and will not work at all. Would be glad of advise or whether I need to return it.
Thank you for your enquiry. Please have a ready through the below information provided on our website through the instruction manual and let us know if you require any further assistance.
Electrodes Dry Out
Self-adhesive electrodes can be wet with a few drops of water and then let air dry to increase their adhesiveness. It is important to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for this procedure. The self-adhesive electrode is the easiest type of electrode to apply. If wet gel is used, care must be taken that it is spread evenly over the surface of the electrode. Alternatively if a hydrogel pad is used, care must be taken that there are no air bubbles.
Skin’s Resistance to TENS
Some skin moisturisers and creams will increase/decrase the skin’s resistance to electrical current. This will result in having to increase/decrease the intensity before feeling any sensation. It is therefore very important to prepare the skin before application of the electrodes, i.e. clean the skin with soap and water or an alcohol swab.
A simple sharp/blunt test will determine if cutaneous innervation is intact. The danger of placing electrodes over skin which has a deficient sensation is that greater stimulus intensities will have to be employed which may cause skin irritation and even a burn. It is important to remember that treatment will be ineffective if the appropriate afferent nerves are not stimulated. If sensation is absent in a specific area, the electrodes may be placed proximal in an area which has intact sensation.
One of the primary factors responsible for a poor response to TENS treatment is ineffective electrode placement. The user must therefore be prepared to try several sites before deciding on an optimal placement site; thus some degree of ‘trial and error’ is involved in this aspect of the treatment regime which will ultimately serve to provide a more successful treatment. Essentially, there are four broad 10 categories of anatomical site to which TENS electrodes can be applied - painful area, peripheral nerve, spinal nerve roots and other specific points (acupuncture, trigger and motor points). Irrespective of the electrode site that is chosen, stimulation will ultimately result in the passage of afferent information into the central nervous system. In each of the four categories, an appropriate degree of anatomical knowledge is essential in order to achieve effective stimulation.
The manuals can be downloaded from our website to help with some of the every day questions you have that have been provided as a FAQ from the manufacturer.
Customer Service Team
Why is this it happens quite often.
I e mailed Beurer UK they said - 'The customer needs to make sure that the unit is attached on to the skin and then if they press the + button a beep will alert them the unit is switched on.
Then if the customer starts to press the + button gradually this will start the programmes for them.
Just ask them to try the above and if this still does not work to let me know'
See how you get on and let me know please.
