Beurer Brand of The CenturyThe Beurer BM58 accurately monitors your blood pressure from the pulse in your upper arm in the same way as a visit to the GP; with simple touch-screen operation and data storage, it’s a great way to monitor your health.

Supplied with the professional standard size (22-30 cm) upper arm cuff which inflates and deflates automatically, the Beurer BM58 Blood Pressure Monitor is incredibly accurate and converts your reading in to an indicated WHO (World Health Organisation) Classification of Optimal; Normal; High-Normal; Grade 1-Mild Hypertension; Grade-2 Moderate Hypertension; or Grade 3-Severe Hypertension.

The Beurer BM58 Blood Pressure Monitor has the capacity for the registration of 2 separate users and will record and store results with a memory capacity of up to 60 readings per registered user. Before the Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor commences measurement, the large LCD touch-screen will display your previous measurement, making it easy for you to compare and monitor your results to ensure you're on the right track.

The clear, easy to read LCD touch-screen also displays other information you need to know, at a glance, including your pulse rate, systolic pressure (maximum pressure in the arteries when the heart contracts), diastolic pressure (minimum pressure in the arteries between heart contractions), your WHO classification, and an irregular heart beat indicator should one be detected. Should this indicator appear frequently, it should be taken as a recommendation to visit your GP.

This ‘Best in Test’ award winning Blood Pressure Monitor from Beurer is great value for money and so simple to use. So whether your GP has recommended you keep a check on your blood pressure at home, or you’re the ‘sporty type’ wanting to monitor your fitness level this is great for you. It's not just for monitoring high blood pressure - if you suffer from low blood pressure symptoms like nausea and fainting then keeping track of your levels is a great way to avoid these unpleasant signs of hypotension.

Your Beurer BM58 Blood Pressure Monitor comes with a full instruction manual containing an easy-to-follow diagnostic table to help you accurately assess your results, a neat storage pouch, self inflating and deflating arm cuff and your required batteries.

So in my view, very recommended. Review by StarRighter

There are a lot of BP devices available so I plumped for the one that looked the nicest. This one is modern and stylish, buit like an iPhone. Its got a touch screen which is useful and it is clear, well set out and easy to read. Transmission to my PC was straightforward and the free software prepares the data graphically together with a comprehensive list that you can submit to your GP if required. It saves up to a max of 60 measurements (these should be transferred to the PC or they will be lost) .
The power consumption seems to keep within limits. I have used the table now for two full months with the same batteries, and measured every day.
there is a storage bag included for travel.
The accuracy I have double checked with the doctor, we agree that our readings agreed so I am very happy to recommend this to you.
So in my view, very recommended. (Posted on 11 March 2015)

Nice, but needs these computer glitches ironing out. Review by Bully

The device was chosen because it is the only wrist model with computer connectivity .
Although I am an experienced computer user, the device was not exactly easy.
Normally I will install the necessary drivers for a device prior to the port then the control software but I had suitable challenges with the software.
The device itself takes a long time until the start of the measurement although one should sit quietly for at least 5 min before the measurement.
Nice, but needs these computer glitches ironing out. (Posted on 6 February 2015)

I am supposed to monitor my blood pressure every 30 minutes. But am finding it a FAFF. Do you sell a machine that will just monitor my blood pressure at regular intervals without me having to do anything with it except maybe download/ write down in the evening. My heartbeat is irregular too so it woud be good if it measured this too. Can you help? Point me in the right direction?
