Change your posture and change your life with the BackJoy posture support
Do you find that sitting in your office all day actually gives you back ache? You can wriggle about all day in your chair trying to get rid of that slouch you know is preventing you from being comfortable. Sadly you are fighting against the odds on your own. When we sit in chairs for long periods of time, it becomes all too easy to relax a bit too much and forget about our posture which then leads to back ache. Prolonged car journeys, plane rides and desk work can all contribute to back pain as a result of bad posture. The BackJoy Posture+ posture corrector helps you to sit with a great posture and with a straight back. It provides you with comfort you need and relieves tension and pressure in the spine and pelvis. The Posture+ is specially designed for adults with a weight between 100-300 lbs /50 - 125KG.
So how does the BackJoy work? The BackJoy sports Active Stabilisation™ which enables a continuous system of correcting movement and posture. This works in 3 ways:
- Optimal Posture - It tilts the pelvis upright so your body is encouraged to sit up right maintaining your natural S shape.
- Dynamic Support - Activates your core muscles, this means you are stronger and will correct your sitting posture therefore relieving and preventing any stress slouching puts on your spine.
- Proper Movement –The BackJoy supports the gluteus and frees the tailbone (coccyx), allowing you to move freely while sitting.
BackJoy will relieve the pressures and strains that aggravate back pain whenever and wherever you sit
Your BackJoy will work anywhere on both hard or soft seats and even outdoors! You can enjoy using it on:
- Office chairs
- Car seats
- Dining table chairs
- Plane seats
- Train seats
And wherever else you sit down and are likely to allow yourself to slouch! The BackJoy Posture+ boasts a waterproof and lightweight design which makes it extremely versatile and perfect for daily in and outdoor use. I have tried a number of different office chairs, even to the point where my employer called in a occupational therapists to see if there were things I could do to get help from the nagging, debilitating pain. I asked for one of these (employer kindly purchased for me) and I have not looked back, so mych so that other member of the office have requested them too now! I find that it makes me sit properly. I don't slouch and I dont cross my legs anymore. Maybe this has been a big deciding factor. I also take a 30 min walk every lunch time to get moving and get a break from my VDU.
I would whole heartedly recommend this for anyone like me who is tied to an office chair. I have not used it at home however and I cannot imagine using it on my sofa, but on an office/sit-up type chair it is perfect.
I got the black one, I didnt particularly want to draw attention to it, but it became a taling point in the office so concealing it was impossible. (Posted on 31 December 2015)
