The Pelvicisor or vaginal barbell was designed in the USA by Dr Steven S Harvey and is guaranteed to give any women the tightest PC muscles in the world.
Made with Hygienic Stainless Steel (so it can be sterilized, boiled and it won't rust or harbour germs and bacteria) the added attraction is the weight. By making the barbell heavy it means that a when a woman uses this standing she has to work extra hard to keep the barbell in place! The weight really does add an extra dimension, but be warned, this is for women who have a good muscle tone and want to strengthen it even further. Also known as the vaginal Dumbbell it is really effective in exercising the PC muscles. The smooth polished surface ensures a bacteria free environment, it can also help anally with piles. Supplied with free carry bag.

Your Pelvicisor and How To Use It
Following research first published in 1948, Arnold Kegel proposed a specific system of pelvic floor exercises now named Kegel exercises. He found that exercise was particularly beneficial in treating his patients suffering from stress incontinence. Today, doctors still agree that doing Kegel exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles is of great benefit to women with incontinence and the preferred method of treatment despite advances in surgery and other forms of therapy.
Over one-third of women start out squeezing the wrong muscles. Therefore, it is really helpful to find the correct technique. You can check yourself by following these steps :
* When you need to pass urine, sit on the toilet with your legs apart. See if you can start and then stop the flow of urine without moving your legs.
* If you can stop the stream of urine, you are tightening muscle. If you can start the stream of urine, you are relaxing the muscle.
Or
* Insert a finger into the vagina, and try to tighten the muscles around your finger as if holding back urine. When you feel pressure on your finger you are using the correct muscle.
Remember that the abdominal and thigh muscles should remain relaxed. Remember not to hold your breath and to breathe slowly and deeply. Try to stay as relaxed as you possibly can. Once you have successfully located the correct muscles it is the technique of contracting and releasing them that actually forms the Kegel exercise.
The Pelvicisor™ is made of stainless steel and has a smooth, polished surface ensuring a bacteria-free environment. It weighs nearly 600g, and is 6 1/2-inch long.
The Pelvicisor's unique shape and weighted design are designed to maximise exercising efforts and the exercises take only 8 -10 minutes every day. By the end of your 12th week of exercising, you'll have a healthier, firmer pelvic floor muscle and pelvic area.
How to use the Pelvicisor
The Pelvicisor is not sterile on delivery and it is recommended that you wash it in warm, soapy water before use.
* Stage 1 - start by lying in a semi-reclining position. Bend your knees, flatten your feet, and support your head and neck. Insert the small sphere after well lubricating with a water based lubricant such as
Eden Silk
. Your pelvic floor muscles will constrict the Pelvicisor due to the coldness. Continue to insert the Pelvicisor until you reach the centre sphere. Now relax the pelvic floor muscles. Slowly tighten up the muscles and remove the Pelvicisor with resistance. Repeat the process for at least 8 to 12 minutes. Your body temperature will warm up the Pelvicisor. Reinsert the Pelvicisor and try to lift the Pelvicisor several times repeating this for about 20 to 30 lifts. Relax the muscles and remove the Pelvicisor. You have now finished you first set of exercises. Do this twice daily for six weeks.
* Stage 2 - starting with week six. Insert the large sphere after lubricating with a water based lubricant such as
Eden Silk
. Now insert it until you reach the centre sphere. Slowly pull the Pelvicisor out of the vagina applying resistance. Repeat this process for at least 8 to 12 minutes. With the large sphere inserted apply resistance and start lifting the Pelvicisor with your pelvic muscles, relaxing during each lift. You should repeat this for a minimum of 30 sets. At this time your pelvic floor muscles should be strong enough to hold the Pelvicisor up (while supporting it with your hand) for a period of time. If you can not do this exercise with ease you should continue to stage one until comfortable with this lifting and holding exercise. You have now completed your exercising sets. You will want to continue doing your exercises three times a week. This will keep your pelvic muscles strong. You may want to reverse the Pelvicisor inserting the small sphere and lifting, supporting it with your hand as you do so.
Frequently asked questions
Will this product work for me?
Yes, it will work for any women with the desire to strengthen and tone the pelvic floor muscles resulting in increased vaginal health and helping to stop the unwanted flow of urine while intensifying your orgasms.
How will I know if the exercise is working?
As you follow the exercise suggestions, you will begin to see the increased number of vaginal contractions you can perform and you'll need to progressive resistance by adding the second spring. As this occurs, stress incontinence improves as well as vaginal control.
How long do I need to use them?
All muscles in the body will get weak, soft and loose without exercise. So make a commitment to use your Pelvicisor for rest of your life. Make the right decision.
Should I worry about soreness?
The Pelvicisor may produce some soreness or a slightly uncomfortable feeling, but no more than exercising any other body part. If it hurts stop and allow the muscles to recuperate. Making sure that you are relaxed before you begin will help enormously.
What happens if I stop using these products?
As with any muscle that is not used, there will be a loss of tone and atrophy will occur. The breakdown that takes place within the muscle tissue will be gradual. Many women who have discontinued use of the Pelvicisor have experienced loss of the vaginal tone and control they achieved and the return of stress incontinence.
Who should not use the Pelvicisor?
Women who are or may be pregnant should not use these products. Any women who are postpartum, prone to genito-urinary tract infections or who have had prior genito-urinary tract surgery should consult their physician prior to using either product.
Is the Pelvicisor basically a pleasurable toy for women?
NO, however; during the course of these exercises women do experience pleasure that is only a bonus to the real benefits of healthy pelvic muscles.
Is their any benefit to using the Pelvicisor anally?
Yes. Though incomplete research , a number of women have reported that by exercising the opposite end of the pelvic muscle, they have in a period of time eliminated some form of haemorrhoids.
Whichever method you are drawn to, please remember that pelvic health is a vital part of every woman's life and deserves your attention now.
